Maybe the stupidest promo item I've ever seen.
(click images, via) A Bucharest gym thought it would be a great idea to pay local hair salons to use these branded aprons so men could experience "20 minutes of muscles" as their ad agency DraftFCB called it in their press note. Yeah. I'm sure these went over wonderfully with insecure Romanian schlubs just trying to get a relaxing hair cut. The agency claims, and I quote, "after three months, more than half of those who wore the aprons took up workout classes at Pescariu. (italics mine)." Bullshit.
